P.S. 1 Good to read a text about organic farming and learning there what the following words mean: pig pens, siring, whiff, bunting-festooned, trestle table, musing on, hedgerows, slash and burn, uttering, grandish, wellies, withering, eavesdropping, straying off-message, strolling, sunburst, foot and mouth, kitemark, pasties, ploughing on, tapping a dutiful foot, nudge, lairy, clap on the back, flick, red clover, lactations and attuning.
P.S. 2 Discussions were held about urban horticulture and organics too and some of the partecipants were delegates from the Royal Agricultural College conference. The prince wore a shepherd's crook around men in bowler hats.
